Healthy communities, dynamic practice

During almost 18 years as a division of general practice, General Practice Network South Inc. (gpns) worked closely with general practitioners, practice nurses and practice teams to enhance their clinical and business practices, together with other local health services, to deliver safe, high quality primary healthcare to people in our region. This includes communities across Adelaide’s inner and outer southern suburbs, the southern Fleurieu Peninsula and Kangaroo Island.

From 1 January 2012, gpns transferred its operations to the Southern Adelaide-Fleurieu-Kangaroo Island Medicare Local.

The gpns Board of Directors is now considering the future role that gpns may have in supporting general practice in our region.
